Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) is a fat soluble vitamin that helps the body to absorb calcium and phosphorous found in food and supplements. Vitamin D is synthesized by the body when skin is exposed to sunlight. Use of sunscreen, protective clothing, limited exposure to sunlight, dark skin, and age are risk factors which can lead to Vitamin D3 deficiency.

Each film coated tablet contains :
Vitamin D3 I.P. (as stabilized)	2000 I.U. (50 mcg)

One tablet with or immediately after your main meal, swallow with water.
Not to be chewed.
Ultra D3 2k tablets should only be taken once a day.
Always ensure that Ultra D3 2k tablet is taken with plenty of liquid to wash the tablet down, and not tea or coffee, as this may cause the tablet to disintegrate too early.

Ultra D3 2K has been developed as a convenient way to supplement the diet with vitamin D. The product contains vitamin D3, the preferred form of vitamin D produced naturally by the body on exposure to sunlight. which contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium, and normal blood calcium levels. Ensuring an adequate intake of calcium is vital for men and women of all ages.

Vitamin D supplementation is recommended for the entire population, due to the presence of widespread deficiency. There are a number of reasons why vitamin D supplementation may be required including:

Increased requirement at certain life stages e.g. the elderly population, whose skin may not be able to synthesise vitamin D as effectively.
Women with PCOS, pregnancy or during menopause.
Athletes, sports players or gym individuals

Generally, Ultra D3 2K can be taken alongside medications. For specific advice on taking Ultra Vitamin D with medicines, we recommend that you contact your nearby doctor.

Take one Ultra D3 2k tablet per day with your main meal and swallow with water. Do not exceed the recommended intake.
As with other food supplements, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you are under medical supervision, pregnant, breast-feeding, have epilepsy, suffer from food allergies, or are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Not suitable for children.
Ultra D3 2K may be used for as long as required, and a regular intake is recommended unless advised by your physician.
We do not recommend chewing the tablets because they have not been formulated as chewable.
