We have developed a range of award-winning multivitamin tablets and capsules to ensure there is something for everyone.
Scientific opinion varies, but it is often thought the evening is an ideal time, because this is when the body's mineral levels fluctuate most. However, it is important to ensure the supplements are taken with your largest meal of the day to maximise nutrient absorption, whether this is your lunch or evening meal.
They are completely safe and do not cause any side effects if taken in recommended doses.
Gelatin is the most commonly used animal ingredient in multivitamins. The capsule shells are made up of ‘gelatin’ which is of animal origin, hence the non-veg mark.
Where gelatin is used in our products it is from a Bovine (beef) source, which is Halal certified.
Most of our comprehensive formulas include a range of B vitamins including Folic Acid.
If you are pregnant, the Pregnacare range includes optimum quantity of Folic acid to support you during pregnancy.
Many of our other products - such as Feroglobin B12 Liquid, Feroglobin B12 capsules, Immunace extra tablets include Folic acid as part of their formula. You can see which products include Folic Acid by checking the ingredients listed on each product page under the ‘Nutritional Information’ section.
No, this is not recommended as we have specific liquid formats for children. Of course, many Vitabiotics' products are for specific adult requirements or life stages, and are therefore not recommended for children. Because of the size of some capsules and tablets, we do not recommend they be taken by children under the age of 12, unless specified otherwise under the directions for use. The kids range is designed to support the nutrient needs of children aged 3-12, in kid-friendly formats, such as liquids.
